Mother’s Day Lesson Ideas

My Mother's Day Lesson ideas go well beyond the simple making of a card and giving presents. I demonstrate a teaching technique that guides children to give meaningful encouragement to their mom. Carefully chosen words, discussion and scripture help children to bless their mom (or gran, aunty, etc) with words of love and encouragement. In part one, you will see the teaching part using the chart that you can download from here. In part 2 & 3 I will guide you in doing a follow up activity where the kids craft a meaningful letter or simple card to give a mother on Mother's Day.

This craft is often called a chatterbox or fortune teller card. It is such a fun interactive card that not only mother’s enjoy - but kids love it too. Children enjoy coloring the card and then when they give the card to their mom, they get to interact and do nice things for their mothers as they play the game together. Just watch the tutorial and see. We now have 4 different formats of this card for - ‘Mom, Mum, Ma or Nan’. Download from here
